Bridal Shower Centerpiece

 by: Trish Burrell

Your bridal shower centerpiece is often the focal point of your party. It helps set the mood, whether it be soft and romantic, or bright and lively. So, put some extra thought into your choice. Answers to the following questions will help with your brainstorming.

How do I decide what to use?

The best place to start, is with your bridal shower theme. Try to come up with some creative centerpiece ideas related to your theme. For instance, if it's a kitchen shower, use a utensil holder filled with utensils, and tie a colorful bow around it. This can become a useful gift for the guest of honor to take home when the bridal shower is over.

What if I'm not having a theme?

Use your color scheme. This simple idea has a unifying effect, as it will blend with your other decorations.

What are some bridal shower centerpiece ideas?

? Fresh flowers are always a great choice. They add color and aroma.

? Silk flowers are inexpensive, and come in a variety of colors.

? Candles come in
many shapes and colors. Place three or more pillar candles of varying height on a charger plate, and surround with colored marbles. Floating candles in a decorative bowl can also be used.

? A picture of the couple makes a lovely statement. You may also assemble a collage of pictures of them through the years.

? Mylar balloons with a design on them, can be added to any centerpiece for a festive effect.

? Fill a basket with theme-related items, and attach three or more helium balloons.

? Many cakes are very ornate. You may want to use your cake as the bridal shower centerpiece.

Do I only need one centerpiece?

In general, you should have a centerpiece on each table you are using. You may need several, if it is a long table.

Your bridal shower centerpiece should help coordinate your room.

How to Have a Successful Fundraiser

How to Have a Successful Fundraiser

 by: Paul Jensen

To achieve a successful fundraiser you need to create

awareness and excitement.

Some things to consider:

 When planning a fundraiser the most important

question you need to answer is: How much money

do you need to raise?

 How many people do you have that can help carry out

the fundraiser?

 When will the fundraiser start and when will it

end? It is generally a good idea to have the fundraiser

last

2 weeks or less. With a smaller window of

opportunity, people are more inclined to act immediately.

It is important to get a commitment to the fundraiser the

first time, and eliminate the need for a second sales pitch.

 Collect the payment at the point of sale. This

eliminates the need to collect payment at the time of

delivery...

The Best Products To Sell On eBay

The Best Products To Sell On eBay

 by: Jennifer Clason

If you're considering starting an online storefront by selling on eBay, you might wonder what products to offer in your auctions. Don't rush into this decision, think carefully before you decide on what to sell. If you make a rush decision, you might end up with something that nobody will buy or perhaps the market is oversaturated with the items you chose.

Do some research on eBay and see how many other listings for your item(s) are appearing. It always pays to know how much competition you have. Also see what the items are going for by looking at the "completed auctions", see which ones sell better than others, and see if you'll be able to turn a profit by selling your choice of products.

However these are some handy rules of thumb when choosing items to sell on eBay.

1. Don't sell "high demand" gadgets. I know this sounds wacky but think about it: If you decide you're going...
